As I was thinking about writing today’s blog post, I contemplated making it something about Mother’s day. But it didn’t really seem appropriate to dig down into parenting or relationship issues. Mother’s Day is all about expressing gratitude and appreciation. So, I thought I’d make a little video and share it with all of you.
I’ll confess that this was mostly a selfish undertaking – I wanted something really special to send to my own mom; something that expressed how I felt; something uplifting and inspiring that would make her and me feel really, really good. This is what I came up with. Hopefully, you and your mom will like it, too. 🙂
Happy Mother’s Day!
Huge hugs,
Melody
Arr this video is so sad. 🙁 It feels like the person is dead. It’s really lovely and touches the heart.
Tearjerking moments: Santa Claus. My mum did that for me too. Let me have the fantasy. “You are my best freind” arrrrr wa! I miss that. 🙂
EEEk! My mom’s not dead, Alice. I promise. But yeah, it’s a bit of a tearjerker. Sometimes you just have to get all sentimental. 🙂
Huge hugs,
Melody
Hi Melody, what a lovely mothers day presentation. I could bawl my eyes out I think I’ll get up and give Rosie and Joe a hug right now.
very touching Melody. thanks

Hi Jayne,
Thanks so much. It made my mom cry, too (even though that wasn’t the goal…)
Hugs to you and your family,
Melody
