Pre-paving isn’t working. Why not?

Awesome Anurag wants to know: “I would like to know how to use the law of attraction to alter the course of my whole day? Like, in the morning I always imagine doing some things which I’ve planned for the day, but I’m not able to do those things. WHY is this happening!? This leads to further disappointment when I’m not able to do the things I’d planned to do, and maybe causes some resistance and attracts some bad experiences. How do I fix this?”

Anurag is trying to use a process that Abraham fans will recognize as “Pre-Paving”, whereby you work to line up your energy with what you want BEFORE trying to take any action. So, you might do a bit of pre-paving in the morning, before even getting out of bed, and set yourself up for a fabulous day. Or not.

Here’s what’s going wrong:

Dear Anurag,

It sounds to me like you’re planning out your day intellectually instead of emotionally. And that’s why it’s not working. You can’t just make a To Do list. After all, people have been doing that unsuccessfully for ages. Sure, you might complete your lists for a while, but it takes willpower and motivation, and sooner or later those always run out.

Here’s what I suggest: Instead of thinking of all the things you’d like to do that day, think of how  you’d like that day to feel. If you have certain events coming up, like a class or a meeting with a friend, think of those events and decide how you want to experience them. Do you want to have fun? Do you want to shine? Do you want to be confident? Do you want to be relaxed?

Once you decide how you want each event to feel, take a few minutes and see yourself experiencing each segment of your day the way you’d like to. So, let’s say you’re meeting a friend. Visualize yourself talking to your friend, smiling and laughing together, and having a great time. You don’t have to worry about what you’ll say, or how exactly you brought up which topic. Just see yourself and your friend having a fantastic time. If the visualization itself is already fun for you, you’re doing it right.

If there are things you’d really like to get done that day, see yourself at the end of the day, having gotten them all done easily and joyfully. Focus on it being easy, on the feeling of things working out without stress. Don’t focus on how much you have to do, how overwhelming it is and how hard it all is. That’ll just line you up with a horrible feeling day (sound familiar?).

I’ll give you a personal example:

I’d been looking to buy a new laptop. I’d been researching models for weeks, going to stores to try them out, and had narrowed it down to a couple of models. I woke up a few days ago, and actually dreaded my day. That’s not an emotion I’m going to tolerate for long. I stayed in bed and asked myself what was causing me to feel this way. Well, I was feeling overwhelmed at the prospect of spending yet another one of my flexible days (I have coaching days full of appointments and flexible days where I do everything else), hunting through stores, trying to figure out what I needed, and not really getting any help from sales staff. The whole thing had become such a burden. So, I deliberately chose a different thought: What if it was easy? What if I could just attract the perfect laptop without doing any more work? I’d researched enough to know exactly what my requirements were. So, I essentially knew what I wanted. I just didn’t know which model was going to tick all my boxes without costing me more than necessary. Just deciding to let it be easy immediately made me feel better. I also decided to give myself a break that day and not go hunting for a laptop. That made me feel even better. I couldn’t drop the subject altogether, but I could reprioritize and do something else that day.

So, two days later, I set out to look at laptops again. I noticed a model that I hadn’t previously seen. I thought I’d looked at it and had deemed it too heavy, and yet, when I picked it up, it wasn’t. The keyboard felt like a dream, it had all the CPU power I wanted, the storage, the RAM, the portability, the screen size, etc. And, it was on sale. So, there was my manifestation. I knew this was my perfect laptop. I couldn’t get the sales person’s attention, and I was tired from running around all day running errands (I’d stopped by the laptop shop at the end of the day, just because I could fit it in), and so, feeling happy to have found the right model, I made the better feeling choice to just go home and come back the next day. I could’ve given in to the voice that said “Oh, let’s just get it over with!”, but that didn’t feel good. Truth be told, it would’ve been a huge hassle to buy the laptop. The store was really busy, the lines were mega long and like I said, I was tired.

So, earlier today (the day I’m writing this), I walked into the shop, all relaxed. Remember, I’d lined up with things being easy and just working out for me. I didn’t know the details of how they would work out for me, but that wasn’t my job. That’s what we have LOA for.

Badabing Badaboom

I found a very nice and helpful sales assistant within minutes. It turns out, the model I wanted has been discontinued. They don’t have anything with nearly that much power and those features for anywhere close to that price and they won’t be getting anything else like that in, anytime soon. Huh. I had a teensy moment of confusion and then thought, “Oh well. I guess today’s not the day. It will come to me in perfect timing.” And then, Mr. Helpful told me that I could buy the (flawless!) floor model at a discounted price (off the already ridiculous sales price). He took me to a special desk where I paid (no waiting in line! I had no idea those special desks existed!!), got me to sign up for a store card which gave me an extra 5% off, wrapped it all up for me while I shopped for a wireless keyboard (purchased with that 5% savings!), which he then also rang up for me (still, no lines! No waiting!) and sent me on my way. Easiest. Electronics. Purchase. Ever.

When I Focus On Something It Goes Further Away!

Awesome Ana asks: “What if the thing you want the most seems to be the one thing that’s furthest away from you? My experience tells me that the more you imagine, feel, or desire an event or a fact, the further away it is. But if I don’t think of it, somehow, sooner or later it appears! Why? I always try my best to apply the LOA, but it doesn’t work in my case…or am I doing something wrong? When I try it deliberately, just the opposite occurs. Even now, at the very beginning of 2013, I decided to apply it and what I’m finding is that my car, devices, and technology in general are breaking down!!! Help!!! What is going on? I’m so confused!”

Oh dear, Ana. You seem to be experiencing a very common issue – you think you’re focusing on what you want, but in doing so, you’re actually focusing on what you don’t want. Or, to put it another way, you’re focusing on what you want, but in a way that doesn’t feel good.

When you move towards what you want, energetically speaking, any obstacles that lie in the way of what you want (beliefs you hold that contradict what you want) will manifest. This happens so that you have a chance to notice these contradictory thoughts and shift them. And you can do that in a couple of different ways.

So, let’s say that you’re focusing on having a wonderful life in 2013. And then your car and all your other techie toys start to break down. What gives? Well, obviously, you’re holding on to some beliefs that contradict that beautiful life. How does the breakdown of all your stuff feel, emotionally? I’m going to guess it’s frustrating, overwhelming, difficult, a hassle – it feels like a burden and like it will be a lot of hard work to sort out. Well, is that how you generally view life? In this example, I’m betting that it is. You have an expectation, one that you may not have been aware of, that life is hard work. Notice that I’m making a lot of assumptions here, because I don’t really know what you were focusing on or how exactly those obstacles felt, but this explanation is more about the process so that you can figure this out for yourself, rather than just telling you exactly what the beliefs are (which would require a coaching relationship). In other words, the negative manifestations you’re having are very, very useful. They’ll help you to figure out what beliefs you hold that are blocking you from having the life you want.

The second method you can use to line up with what you want is to stop focusing on what you want, and focus only on things that make you feel truly good. You’re not letting go of the desire – the Universe knows exactly what you want – you’re letting go of the need to make it happen. When you align yourself with good feeling topics, you automatically attune yourself with everything you want, because you stop contradicting what you want, and that’s all it takes to manifest your desires. The Law of Attraction is always bringing you everything you’ve ever wanted. But it’s up to you to let it in.

My advice to you would be to just spend a week or so doing nothing but things that make you feel amazing. Daydream, dance, sing, take it easy, nap, eat chocolate, etc. Just get really happy. Make the manifestations you’ve been after unimportant to your emotional state. Let go. Then see what happens. 🙂

How Can You Find a High Vibrational Thought From A Low Vibrational Place?

Awesome Chandni wants to know: “If thoughts are manifestations and the law of attraction can’t bring us great thoughts when we are mired in misery, then why do you and all teachers talk about thinking good thoughts when the vibes are low? If thoughts and ideas are manifestations, then how can we actually raise our vibes (apart from meditation)? And once we raise the core vibration (or once we shift), how can we stay there and become more stable in the core vibration?”

Excellent question, Chandni! If we only have access to thoughts that match our current vibration, then how can we get access to better feeling thoughts with a frequency which is higher than our current one? We can’t. That’s why trying to think super positive thoughts when you’re depressed doesn’t work. You don’t have access to thoughts with a completely different frequency.

You do, however, have access to a range of frequencies. So, instead of just vibrating at 5 MHz, for example, you could vibrate at an average of 5 MHz, with access to everything from 4.5  to 5.5. In that case, you’d focus all your attention on 5.5 MHz until that became your average vibration, giving you access to everything from 5.0 to 6.0. And so forth.

In other words, you could focus on the best feeling thought you have access to (not necessarily a happy, shiny thought, just the best feeling one you can find), until you feel a touch better and that thought no longer represents the top of your accessible range, but the middle. The longer you focus on this thought, the more energy you give to it, the easier it gets to think this thought, and consequently, the more “stable” you become. And once you were completely stable, you could now find the next best feeling thought you’d have access to and repeat the process.

The stability comes from not moving too fast, but rather spending enough time focusing on each incremental step of the vibrational ladder so that the urge to slip below that point vanishes. The longer you spend on each step, the larger it becomes, and the more “surface” you have to stand on.

This is why our negative thoughts often feel more stable than our positive ones. We’ve been trained to focus negatively and have given much more focus and power to our fears than our hopes and dreams. But it’s really all a matter of focus and time; all we have to do give more energy to what we want than what we don’t want, and tip the scale in favor of the positive.

Now it’s your turn: Do you have any questions about manifesting? How about examples of how you’ve been able to manifest successfully? Share in the comments!

  • “Instead of thinking of all the things you’d like to do that day, think of how you’d like that day to feel.”
This is probably the most potent sentence on your website. I’ve been taking notes for the last week or so of reading your work and this one was really summed it up for me. The stuff about limiting beliefs and the purpose of life and LOA was easy for me to understand because I’ve been removing the cobwebs all my adult life and was on the spiritual path long before I knew I was. But I was struggling with the how. And this sentence sums it up for me, it can’t be done just intellectually!
Thanks Melody, I have read enough spiritual masters to distinguish the fake from the real, and the really on to something from the repeaters. And everything you have written rings true and from deep within your own being!

  • Quick question:

What does the spam mail we attract say about us? (if anything) 🙂

“enlarge your penis NOW!” other people get diet pill ads. I get sex ones.

    • Depends on how it feels to you. For example, if it annoys you, then it’s a manifestation of annoyance (you are annoyed by something that you’re not paying attention to, so the Universe will annoy you in bigger and bigger ways until you catch on).

I never get Penis enlargement mails. Huh. I feel a bit left out. They could at least OFFER to enlarge my penis…

      Hugs!

      Melody

      • They make me laugh actually. I look forward to getting funny ones and telling people about it.
Some I get are just neutral, or remind me I’m sick because advertise for medicines. Things to do with casinos or gambling are slightly annoying, but it doesn’t bother me that much, depends. Sometimes it reminds me to have fun.

But mostly they make me laugh! I love the sex ones, as some of the descriptions are really detailed and funny.
“Hey there well hung!” –love it! 🙂

  • Well, every time I read your posts I think to myself that’s easy, I can do that, I think I understand it… but I’m not sure I always do. It got me thinking, people who are shy (like me) or have social anxiety or any type of “psychological problem”, can be really self-destructive. I sometimes catch myself in thinking negative but can’t stop thinking about it, even though I realized that my vibration is low and it doesn’t help me. It’s like don’t think about green elephant. You know you shouldn’t but you do that even stronger. So, for example I can’t find a job, I’m very bad at meeting people, to get to know them and make friends, so I’m not comfortable with that situation. But although I realize that’s my problem, it’s still (even on a good days) hard for me to get a contact or anything that might help me to get a job. And I think about that even harder so it’s like I’m in a vicious cycle and it’s spinning so fast that I can’t get out – maybe I’ll fly out of it someday:). But seriously, I just don’t know how not to think or feel negative… I read your post about getting out of negative thoughts but I think I’m still missing one step there:(. Oh, and although it’s inspiring to know that you create everything it’s also actually very scary for me, and sometimes paralyzes me to think that I do that to myself and attract crappy things in my life. Any thought on that? Thank you for everything, I appreciate your help.

  • Hi!
Example of a sucessful manifestation: I arrived in Italy a couple of days ago to continue the presencial phase of my degree (another awsome manifestation of 2012). A couple of months ago I was very worried about housing and money. I focused on the fact that this opportunity felt great and was my own choice and that I really wanted it, and that I wasn’t that powerless as I thought. There was a bit of worry, but also hope. I haven’t searched for a lot of houses and I had so much on my mind.
I decided yo “go with the flow” and solve one thing at the time, whenever I felt better and inspired. At my old job they decided not to give me a licence without payment (it would be okay only in terms of “security” after the degree is finished, but I was in that job for practically three years and I wasn’t happy). So they fired me and gave me an indemnization that can cover the period I’m here.
Regarding housing, I felt a bit scared with some adds, I liked others, but they never contacted me back… Then a colleague of mine put on Fbook that she found a furnished appartment, wich is confortable and in an afordable price for both of us. I told her I was interested and she later agreed to be my roomate.
I’m hoping that this experience makes me release more resistance and thus become happier 🙂
    Kisses!!

  • Hi Melody,

I understand the benefit of doing pre-paving. However, the technique seems to contradict staying in the now moment. I am a bit confused. Can you elaborate?

    Thank you.

    Claire

    • Hey Claire,

Good question! We are always in the now, whether we realize it or not. Even when we are looking at the past or the future, we are in the now. So, when we look at the past or the future, we can do so, but we should always make sure it feels good.

Sometimes, we can’t help but think of the future. Like when we’re worried about something. We can try to distract ourselves, but if it’s really important to us, then that might not work. In that case, we can look at the future, but with a perspective that feels better. What’s really happening there is that something is getting our attention NOW and messing up our vibration NOW. So, we focus on it NOW and find a way to feel good about it NOW.

This isn’t always necessary. It’s just one tool we can use to create positive expectation and align ourselves with the energy of what we really want.

      I hope that makes sense.

      Huge hugs,

      Melody

  • Greetings from a Fellow Top 50! I have to admit that I am just getting caught up now on checking out some of the amazing blogs that made the list. I love your honest and candid style Melody. Congratulations on 1st place!

    Peace and Love,

    • Thanks so much Angela!!

It’s great to meet you too. Don’t worry, I haven’t been able to explore all the blogs yet, either. But I’ll get there. We have a year until the next contest, right? 🙂

And thanks so much for the kind words. I really appreciate them.

  • Just read this I figured I’d post:

A woman is running from tigers. She runs and she runs, and the tigers are getting closer and closer. She comes to the edge of a cliff. She sees a vine there, so she climbs down and holds on to it.

Then she looks down and sees that there are tigers below her as well.

At the same time, she notices a little mouse gnawing away at the vine to which she is clinging. She also sees a beautiful little bunch of strawberries emerging from a nearby clump of grass.

She looks up, she looks down, and she looks at the mouse.

Can you guess what she does next?

She picks a strawberry, pops it into her mouth, and enjoys it thoroughly.

Tigers above and tigers below. We are born and we die. What shall we do in between?

Shall we worry about all the tigers in our life?

Each day offers at least one sweet strawberry, no matter how small it may be.

Take the time to find your sweet strawberry every day and concentrate on that.

    • The author of this text: Ani Pema Chödrön, did not consider some things:

-The strawberry can be given to the mouse. You tell the mouse to go speak to the Tigers.

-How close is that patch of grass? You can jump over there.

-Did you consider bouncing the strawberries on the Tigers’ head? Who said Tigers don’t like strawberries? They do eat berries after all.

-We can focus on being friends with the Tiger, and not assume it always wants to eat us.

-Humans are not the natural food of the Tiger. Something more interesting to them can come along.

-LOA master can befriend the Tiger, send them away or summon a Deer that wants to move on. The Deer run heroically and distracts the Tigers.

There. Now they aren’t a problem anymore! 🙂

    • I love this Kat!!!

What a wonderful story. It doesn’t matter what came before or what comes next. It’s all about the NOW and more importantly, enjoying the NOW.

      Thanks so much for sharing!

      Melody

  • I figured out something that was holding me back and that I needed to let go of, but I hesitated because I thought it was going to be a lengthy and difficult process – that I would have to prove to a group of people I was competent and have to run through all the horrible things which I had experienced over 40 years of being ordained as a minister.
I stayed in bed this morning until my body was ready to get dressed and go on the walk, then I completed a tasks which was easy and I knew I would be happy to have completed – then I turned on the computer and the process was revealed.

I copied the sentence: “I resign my standing as a minister in the United Church of Christ” onto a new email to the chair person of the committee on standing and added a sentence that I did not want my partner to had to keep paying for my ministry – offered words of gratitude – wished my dream had been a pleasanter journey, signed, dated and pushed send to all the correct folks.

It is done. It was easy and took about 5 minutes…..Then I let go of my membership in the local church the same way.

Letting go and trusting the outcome….it was easy.
My posture is already better and I feel like a weight is easing off my shoulders.

I also know that I have been an extraordinary minister/clergy and counselor over these 40 years Just surviving being one of the first 11 women to be in the Master of Divinity program and not having a nervous breakdown as 7 did….is something that will never leave me….And I withstood all the negative and critical comments ( especially from women) over the 40 years and I still know that I am incredibly intelligent and wise – I am proud of…she sits up straighter with ease…

    Oh happy day….O happy day….
It is wonderful when Melody answers one of your questions…

Oh by the way – I believe I need a new computer and soon….visualizing and thinking how great it will look and how clear the monitor will be for my eyes and how exciting that will be….I love new computers – they make me sparkle plenty!
Thank you Melody – enjoy your answers (I am a bit addicted to list making and checking things off!)

    • Congratulations Patricia!

And you know, you haven’t stopped being a counselor or spiritual advisor, simple because you’ve quit an organization. Now, you can do it on your terms, when and how you choose to. There’s no obligation, just freedom to be Who You Really Are. Yay!!!

      Let your light shine bright!

      Happy shiny smooshy puppy hugs!

      Melody

  • Hi Melody,

Three great questions, three inspiring answers! Thank you, Melody, and the questioners!

The computer story was perfect. How many times do I have to (after considerable delay) remind myself to get my analytical brain out of the way? Daily. Hourly.

Feel contented, and everything flows. It’s actually that simple. And if you don’t feel happy, stop whatever you’re thinking/doing, and find a generalized better feeling. Whatever the question, here’s the answer: Hug your dog!

    Hugs to you all,

    Mary Carol

        • Lol…Is that your dog I heard barking in the yard down the street?
I wish I had a dog to hug. My cat doesn’t enjoy hugs. 🙂
A dog I know though, likes to “hug” me when I visit. He walks over and leans on my legs. It’s awesome. Never have to worry if they’ll be happy to see you. They always are.

This is way off the subject. Bu I just had to comment back.
          Hugs to you too.
          L

          • Ha! You are so right. Animals usually make me smile. I saw a crane today, it flew over our heads (a dog and me) and landed on the roof of a house. Interesting and a rare sight to see on the east coast US. But it was a joyful sight. 🙂

I hope your evening is joyful as well.
            L

    • Thanks Mary Carol,

Oooh, I so wish I had a dog to hug. But alas, I’m not willing to have a dog in my small apartment. But I’ve created the perfect, most awesome dog for the future, when that fits into my life. And I hug him in my mind all the time.

Those analytical minds really do like to get in the way, don’t they? Constant vigilance! Ha, ha.

      Huge hugs!!
      Melody

  • This is great! Perfect timing. I’ve been wondering the same thing lately. I imagine getting all my errands done, but my day often ends up not all that productive. I’m excited to try this!

In my visualizations, I find that I often don’t know where to begin – I have my large goals (career, love, etc) and then smaller goals (learn to cook, take up a hobby, exercise, etc). Often, I don’t even know where to start and what to focus on, so I end up spending time focusing on all of them but not too much on any. What do you do when you have a desire to improve many areas of your life, both big and small?

    • Another great question! I do this too. I do that with to-do lists, and a week generally gets crammed into one or two days because I can never really get things done; I plan, I just don’t feel good/well/motivated.

Melody mentions the paving method. I like the answer of doing it emotionally, but I wish she’d tell us a little more exactly what she was thinking and doing? (after she dropped the subject and decided to come back to it)

In nitty-gritty detail. Like is she sitting or laying on her bed? For how long?

Feeling how good the new laptop will be? Visualizing the perfect laptop and trusting there is a way?
Just feeling happy and not doing anything specific?

I want to know the total details of all these manifestations on this blog, I just forget to ask. Now I know the question I had all along. 🙂

      • I’ll add that to the list of blog posts to write Alice. But keep in mind that the details, like how long I visualized or whether or not I was sitting or standing won’t necessarily apply to you. The key thing is achieving the feeling. Focusing too much on copying someone else’s details often detracts from the actual goal. Like using someone else’s affirmations. They may have worked for that person, but could do absolutely nothing for you. That’s because it’s not about the words, it’s about the feeling…

But I will go into more detail in a future post.

        Huge hugs,

        Melody

        • Thanks Melody!

I know what works for you won’t work for me…but it makes it less confusing to see how one person does it.

How I do it was sitting on the train listening to favourite songs. I had 50-60mins to work at that time. I’d think of all the good things that could happen, and get almost teared up from joy. It seems like a fake dream, often impossible, but parts were cool and maybe, just maybe could happen.

So the vibration was super, super happy and excited and thinking it’s unlikey but believe it can happen–this isn’t totally impossible.

The result was many phone calls and promises. In just one day I had a few people offer to help me out, things looked good.

After one day they all flaked out and cancelled on me. I couldn’t hold that joy and excitment. I couldn’t keep it.

You say don’t go to joy straight away but I don’t understand a middle ground. I can’t focus or get excited on a half-arsed vision. It has to be the best vision for me to feel pumped.

There are two sensitive topics that I never think about. One is obviously health. I cry from sheer joy seeing myself healthy and vibrant. It feels amazing. But I’m kind of scared to get my hopes up.

The other thing I am not sure is coincidence or evidence was this: The other day I indulged in some negative gossip about a close person that had done a few things to upset me.
My friend and I talked at length about how crap that person had been etc.

Well they were getting on all right with me, I just had to vent about the past. What a mistake!
After that they came into my sphere and argued with me for a good hour. I was shocked and wonederd what I did for them to be so mean, seeing we were getting along.
Then I remembered the gossip/complaining! I thought it was venting, but it seemed to summon all the stuff I said about them right at me!

As soon as I noticed, I started thinking of them in better light—they-calmed straight down and we were laughing and they said sorry!

          • Lesson of this comment: Don’t complain about someone! It makes them worse!

Now you say karma isn’t real, but that seemed like karma seeing I spoke meanly of them, they showed up, and behaved meanly towards me.

The other thing is I should be able to vent/complain without getting that “karma”

    • Hey Curiousv,

In that case, I’d focus more generally. Focus on an image or scenario that represents how you ultimately want to feel. You don’t have to focus on all the details to make them come about. You’ve created them already. Now, you just have to line up with the frequency where everything you want is, and you do that by focusing in a way that feels really good. So, find an image or scenario that represents who you are evolving into, and just focus on that. It can be as easy as seeing yourself as happy. You truly don’t have to get more specific than that, unless you want to. 🙂

      Huge hugs,

      Melody

  • Whats the deal with something being taken from you once you manifest it, does this happen. For months I had been wanting some type of speakers so I could sing and dance around while cooking and cleaning. I did research, felt good about it, even used my cell phone with headphones to get into the feeling of it, and then for christmas I got an IPAD and it was perfect I could sit it on the counter and it was loud enough to allow just what I was looking for. I hadnt even thought about wanting an IPAD, but it was great then 2 weeks later someone broke in my home and stole it. I was shocked, that is all that was taken from me. I thought maybe this is more about the break in than the IPAD, but I dont have any fears about break-ins. I rarely lock my doors. Im just not understanding what this is all about.

    • Hey Catrice,

I’m not sure. It’s impossible to tell just from what you’ve said here. What were the feelings that came up from the break in? What thoughts did it trigger? Really dig into that (it’s easy to stay on the surface and just say it felt bad, but go much, much deeper). Then, see if there’s anything else going on in your life that feels like that. This wasn’t so much about the speakers being taken away from you, as the robbery serving to highlight something you’re not paying attention to. Look at the emotions and it will become clear.

      Huge hugs and good luck,

      Melody

  • Hey question uno and tres were well said! Awesome allowing on he laptop too, how sweet is that!? Now you have no excuse not to jazzercise while on coaching calls. Hey it never hurts to try and facilitate new methods of channeling… Im feeling like a Dawn on the Amazon day… lata!

    • Gracias cariño. So dos was no good, eh? 😆

I don’t know about Jazzercise, but it will make it much easier for me to do my happy dance. I may have to invent a few new moves now that I’ll have more space to move about. There’s only so much one can do in a chair…

Ah yes. The Dawn. How I miss theeee, with thy smoothies and mashed sweet potatoes with a view of the Amazon basin and crazy people selling earrings and shit. One day, we shall meet again. *sigh*

      TTFN!

      Mel

  • Great post! It really did put a lot in perspective for me… really good questions were asked and clear answers provided. Thanks again for sharing the insight!

  • OMG! Can’t believe that you answered my question! You totally made my day! Thank you very much, I’m really grateful for that!
And the answer and the example you gave to the question totally resonates with me. I’d actually been planning out my days intellectually instead of doing so emotionally. Now I know where I went wrong! Thanks to you! 🙂

  • Very true, Melody. I’ve always been a fan of the “find a better-feeling thought” process by Abraham-Hicks. It’s truly one of the most effective methods available in shifting your vibration to a better feeling place. In fact, I suggest anyone new to the Abe process to start with this method then after mastering it, move on to the getting into the vortex process. You should actually follow your gut on this but this is my general recommendation. 😉

Talk to you soon Melody. 😀

    Cheers,
    Fonzy Montenegro

    • Thanks Fonzy. I agree. It’s interesting how people who are naturally good at shifting to higher vibrations do follow these processes and don’t even know it (they don’t have to). It’s our natural inclination to reach for better feeling thoughts. We just have to allow it. 🙂

      Huge hugs,

      Melody

        • 🙂 Oh, That is lovely! You must be very positive to look so youthful.

I also get that! I had a woman stop me once to take my photo because I had an “angelic” face.
That was one of the best compliments I have ever had.

I hope you and your site is doing well. I like the part about the Chi-energy. I’m a slight skeptic of LOA, but a big fan of Chi.
For me Chi makes so much sense, and I truly believe in a life-force energy.

          Very nice to meet you.

          • Very nice to meet you too, Alice.

Thank you for reading my blog post about that. 🙂

Using chi as way to make your desires come into reality is really awesome. I believe in a life-force energy too (Me, Melody, and other Abers might call this pure positive energy or source energy).

Maybe you could put up your own blog and write more about this or post some videos. Share what you know, you don’t have to be an expert… just share what you know. Join us in the blogosphere. ;D

            Cheers,
            Fonzy Montenegro

          • Alice a blogger? I don’t know…. I’d have to use my full name and a photo and I’d feel like a fraud seeing I have so many things not working for me… hmmmm.

Thanks for the belief though! 🙂

          • Perhaps there are already things working out for you like evidences (big or small) that the things you want are already on their way.

            For example:

You want a new car. Then when you walk on the street or look through the window, you see new, shiny, glittery cars passing by.

Or you would meet a friend or someone new who bought a new car.

Things like that are evidences that what you want is on the way.

I do believe you have something to share, every one of us. It’s all a matter of how we look at ourselves.

Even though there’s something not working for you, just focus on what’s working for you no matter how insignificant it may seem to you. Blog about it so you can focus on what’s working for you and when you keep this up, you will already get what you want or at least a chunk of it giving you evidence that you are worthy and have something to offer in the blogosphere.

            Cheers,
            Fonzy Montenegro
