REX February 2025 Content: The Truth Tellers

Ok, so this month’s content is going to be a little bit different. Instead of a technical teaching, I’m inspired to talk about a real-world situation that many of us have been facing.

In the current political landscape, many of us (aspiring) leaders of the light have been doing our best to stay as neutral as possible. We try to be compassionate and kind, try to see as many perspectives as possible. We often try to support everyone. However, there may be those in our realities that insist that if we don’t hate who they want us to hate, don’t believe exactly as they do, or use the exact rhetoric, if we don’t buy into whatever belief system they happen to be suffering from, it makes us the enemy. We are horrible people who just don’t get it. Every argument is distilled down to some ridiculous extreme. If you don’t support A, you’re for B. Logical fallacies and bullying abound. I don’t know about you, but I’ve about had it with this shit and I’m not playing anymore. What will I do instead, and what do I recommend? Well, strap in. This may get a bit ranty, but will hopefully also give you some validation and a more helpful perspective.

Oh, and if you haven’t guessed it, I’m finally coming out of my cocoon. The switch has been flipped, and Soapbox Melody is back! God, I’ve missed her!!
