REX November 2024 Content: The Fallacy of Sacrifice

In all of my years coaching, writing and answering questions, there are few topics or issues that come up more often or more consistently in the energy fields of light leaders and Gladiators than the idea of sacrifice. Limiting beliefs around the concept of sacrifice are so ingrained, so pervasive, and so unexamined in most cases, that most of society no longer has the ability to discern between what is constructive and what is destructive. Or, to put it much more bluntly, most people can’t tell the difference between good energy and bad energy a lot of the time. This isn’t JUST because of twisted beliefs around sacrifice, of course, but as you’ll see, looking at this topic means looking at a huge chunk of the underlying problem.

To delve into the subject of sacrifice and what that actually means, dissecting all the different angles and interpretations, is to delve into beliefs of powerlessness, control, virtue, values, and nothing short of how we define ourselves and who we think we are. To be honest, I myself didn’t fully realize how deep this rabbit hole goes until I started to separate the components, but it’s actually been incredibly interesting and enlightening for me. Today, I’d like to take you down that rabbit hole with me and do a deep dive into an absolutely insane world of beliefs that we all, nevertheless, bought into to some degree.
